Obituary of Roy Nettles

Nettles, Roy Edwin Ocala - Roy Edwin Nettles, 86, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at his home. A lifetime resident of Ocala, Roy served in the United States Coast Guard. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Ocala and worked as a carpenter throughout his life. He is survived by his wife Nadine Nettles; daughter Marsha Bowen (Greg) of Ocala, daughter Karen McClearly (Mike) of Ocala; brother William Nettles of Tallahassee; grandchildren Jennifer Wiechens (Sandon), Daniel Bowen, Dustin Bowen, Cory McCleary, and Mitchell McCleary; and great-grandchildren O'Brien, Annabelle, and Jack Wiechens. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, November 7, 2008 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, 5740 S Pine Avenue. A visitation will be held from 5 -7 pm on Thursday, November 6, 2008 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services - Ocala Chapel, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd.
