Donald J. Sharp, 67, The Villages, FL, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at his residence. He was born in Springfield, OH and the retired CEO of Closed Captioning Services in Grand Rapids, MI. He was a US Army veteran. He moved to The Villages, FL from Ada, MI in 1999. He was a long time member of the Watermark Country Club in Grand Rapids, MI and enjoyed playing golf and cards. He enjoyed living in The Villages and making new friends. He is survived by his wife Charlotte; mother Rachel Althouse , Ft Walton Beach, FL; sister Dianne Harris, Ft. Walton Beach, FL; brother John Sharp, Indianapolis, IN; nieces, great nieces and many special friends. Memorial services will be 12:00, Thursday, July 8, 2010 with a visitation one hour prior to services at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages, FL 32159.
