Obituary of Frank Melvin Sylvester

Frank Melvin Sylvester, 92, passed away on October 18, 2010 at Legacy Hospice House in Ocala. Mr. Sylvester was born in Philadelphia, PA. He moved to Ocala from Springfield, PA in 1985. Mr. Sylvester was a veteran of the U.S. Air Corps during WWII. He was a Life Member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8175 of Earleville, MD. He enjoyed bicycle riding and fixing mechanical structures. Mr. Sylvester leaves behind Sueanne Sylvester, his loving wife of 59 years, of Ocala; three sons, Robert (Gillian) of Earleville, MD, Bus (Sue) of Earleville, MD and Daniel F. Sylvester of Elkton, MD, and James (Maria) of Broomall, PA; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister, Marjorie Horner in 2008. Service will be Monday, October 25, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Joy Lutheran. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
