Obituary of Alfred Andrew Madore

MADORE, ALFRED ANDREW, 78 Ocala - Alfred "Al" Andrew Madore, 78, died at Shands at the University of Florida November 8, 2010. He was born in Morrisville, Vermont and moved to this area from Miami in 1978. He was of Catholic faith. Mr. Madore started Al & Sons Millwork in 1978 with his wife, Rebecca, who predeceased him. He served on the board of Foxwood Farms Home Owners Association. He was very proud of his family, and enjoyed golf, woodworking and traveling. Mr. Madore is survived by his wife, Judith, Ocala; daughters, Georgette (Ed) Mottl, Ocala, Millie (Todd) Kaufman, Greenwood, SC, Valerie (Steven) Belanger, Montpelier, VT; sons, Michael (Candace) Madore, Belleview, Kevin (Melanie) Madore, Belleview, Steve (Carren) Warren, Plainfield, VT; sisters, Therese Ferland, Winter Haven, FL, Claire Chouinard, Winter Haven, FL; brother, Urbain Madore, Orlando; 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, and is preceded in death by one grandson. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, November 14, 2010 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview with Fr. David Vivero officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. A committal service will be held at 1pm on Monday, November 15, 2010 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Ocala.
