Obituary of John Wyatt Shaw

John W. Shaw, 80, of Ocala, FL, died on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at home in Marion Landing.Born in Cambridge, Ohio on April 29, 1930, son to the late Dave and Helen Shaw, he moved to Ocala from Atlanta, GA in 1996. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. John , "JW", retired from Kenworth Trucking Company of Seattle, WA in 1998 after 25 years of service as District Manager, east coast. He was an avid fan of classic cars and trucks, especially his "1967 GTO convertible". JW was a member of the G.T.O. Club of Atlanta, the Moose and a member of a woodworking club in Marion Landing.He attended Countryside Presbyterian Church of Ocala. John was also preceded in death by his son Mark David Shaw in 1978. He is survived by his beloved wife Jo Ann Shaw, brother David Shaw, Columbus, OH and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held on Friday, November 19, 2010 at 11:00AM at Countryside Presbyterian Church, Ocala with Pastor Gary Marshall officiating.
