Obituary of Roy Otis

SUMMERFIELD — Roy F. Otis, 75, died Friday, Nov. 12, 2010. Mr. Otis was born in St. Paul, Minn., and moved from Bloomington, Minn., in 1995. He was a retired plumber; worked for the Florida State Highway System and Walmart; was of the Lutheran faith; an Army veteran; and his hobby was slow-pitch softball. Survivors include his wife, Tamara; daughters Cary Otis, Milaca, Minn., Wendy Otis Kessler, St. Paul; sons Mathew, San Diego, Timothy, Eagan, Minn., Michael and Jack, both of St. Paul; stepsons Donald Kraby, Hinckley, Minn., Daniel Kraby, Duluth, Minn.; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages, is in charge of arrangements.
