Obituary of Wilma A. Fisher

FISHER, Wilma A. Mrs. Wilma A. Fisher, 91, of Ocala, died peacefully on Friday, November 12, 2010, at Legacy Hospice House. A native of Detroit, she and her husband Jim retired to this area in 1976, coming here from Fairfax, VA. Mrs. Fisher was a homemaker, and loved gardening, playing bridge, crossword puzzles, reading, and traveling. She is survived by her daughter Judith A. Fisher, Ocala, sons John L. Fisher, Miami Beach, Richard J. Fisher, Powhatan, VA, and William R. Fisher, Richlands, VA, her brother and sister-in-law Carl and Janet Hill, Las Vegas, her sister-in-law Darlene Anson of The Villages, FL, 8 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband James L. Fisher in 1987. Services for Mrs. Fisher will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala, at 4 PM Monday, November 15. Her family will receive friends from 2 PM until service time. Interment will take place in Falls Church, Virginia.
