Obituary of Frances Theresa Moran

Frances 'Fran' Theresa Moran, 76 of Chiefland, passed away Nov. 17, 2010 at her home. Born in Oakdale, CT she moved to Chiefland as a seasonal resident in 1984 and then full time in 1988. She was a member of Holy Faith Catholic Church in Gainesville. She is survived by her daughter, Karlene T. Smith of Palmetto, FL and son, Christopher Brooks Moran of Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by her husband Donald B. Moran Visitation will be Sunday, Nov 21, 2010 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at the funeral home. Then Mrs. Moran will be transferred to Uncasville, CT for burial at St. Patrick's Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1301 N.
