Terry Kikendall  Memorial Service

Terry Kikendall (78) born March 21st, 1946, passed away unexpectedly/peacefully at her residence at 4699 NW 8th Terrace on Thursday March 28th, 2024. Terry is survived by her husband Dan Kikendall, her sons Brett Kikendall (wife Devan Kikendall) and Ryan Kikendall (wife Shannon Kikendall), and her grandchildren Surrette Kikendall, Myles Kikendall, Ethan Carrigan and Skylah Carrigan.

Terry was loved and adored by all and will be missed!  She was known for her generosity to everyone she loved and even those she didn’t know.  Terry was headstrong and had the well-known ability to spot a sale or a deal better than anyone.

Terry spent a lot of time raising her two sons (approximately 20 years) as a stay-at-home mother in Springfield/New Berlin, Illinois.  She worked as a Full-Time Realtor, and later an Illinois State Police Data Entry Specialist, before retiring and moving to Florida with her husband Dan to be close to her children and grandchildren.  Terry loved gardening and tending to her flowers and landscaping, as well as her miniature schnauzer named, “Bear.”

The Memorial Service for Terry Kikendall will be held this Sunday, April 7th at 3:00pm at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home- 910 East Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL.  Minister Walk Jones from First Presbyterian Church in Ocala will be leading the service.

Terry always supported St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  Therefore, the family respectfully requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  Link to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital Donations in Terry Kikendall’s name:  https://fundraising.stjude.org/site/TR?px=8351560&fr_id=154020&pg=personal
