Obituary of Theodore Bernard Pinder

Theodore “Ted” Bernard Pinder, 76, of Ocala passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022 at West Marion Community Hospital in Ocala. Ted was a native of Nassau, Bahamas, and moved to the Miami area during his high school years. It was there that he met the love of his life Judith.  In 1981 Ted and Judy along with their 2 sons, Tommy and Steve moved to Ocala.  It was in Ocala that Ted and Judy made a life for their family. 

Ted became a realtor and he bought, sold, and renovated houses for over 20 years.  In 2009 Ted took over as the owner of Champion Pest Management, Inc, when his son, Tommy unexpectedly passed away.  In his free time, he enjoyed entertaining and loved sports, especially college football.

Survivors include his son, Steve (Candice) Pinder; brother, William Pinder; sister in law Bette Pinder; grandson, Timmy Pinder; great-grandson, Brody Pinder; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Judith Pinder, son, Thomas “Tommy” Pinder; brother, Howard Pinder; parents, William Evelyn Pinder and Mercay  Schreer.

A funeral service will be held at 1PM on January 15, 2022 at Hiers-Baxley  Funeral Services, 910 Southeast Silver Springs Boulevard, Ocala, FL, 34470.  A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.  At the request of the family please wear a mask while at the services.
