Obituary of Walter J. Kash

Walter J. “Big Guy” Kash, 93, of Ocala, FL passed away on Friday, October 23, 2020.  Big Guy was born in Bronx, NY to Daniel and Charlotte Kash.  He moved to Ocala from West Islip, LINY, around 1989.  He was a warehouseman and chauffer, and member of the Teamsters Union.  He loved baseball, being a lifelong Yankee fan.  He was a loving husband and devoted father to 9 children. 

He was predeceased by his daughter Karen in 2019.

Walter is survived by his wife of 71 years, Mary Kash, 8 children, 14 grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5-7pm on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at the Hiers Baxley Funeral Home in Ocala. 

Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, October 28^th at Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church with burial to follow at Highland Memorial Park in Ocala.
