Obituary of Carmen Lydia Aviles

Carmen Lydia Aviles, 82, of Belleview passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019.

She was a native of Lares, Puerto Rico and moved to this area from New York 35 years ago. Carmen was a custodian for the Marion County Public School System for over 20 years. She enjoyed embroidery, watching tv, and shopping. Her kids were her pride and joy.

She is survived by her five children, sons, Carlos Duran, Tampa, FL, Jose Duran, Ocala, FL, daughters, Leticia Duran, Ocala, FL, Odette Bultron, Belleview, FL, Felicita Cruz, Roanoke, VA, seventeen grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her son, Felipe "Junior" Duran, Jr.

A funeral service will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, Belleview, 5946 SE Robinson Road, on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at noon with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until noon. Interment will follow in Highland Memorial Park, 1515 NE 3rd Street, Ocala, FL.
